Education and Mentoring

CATHEDRAL ARTS PROJECT (CAP)

Members of St. John's Cathedral founded Cathedral Arts Project (CAP) in 1993. Our mission is to enrich the quality of life in Northeast Florida through unleashing the creative spirit of young people.  By providing access to free instruction in the visual and performing arts, we empower underserved, school-aged children to succeed in all areas of their lives. Dedicated volunteers are needed to assist in their office, now located in the Southpoint area of town, with administrative projects and special events during the year.  For more information visit Cathedral Arts Project.

EPISCOPAL HIGH SCHOOL OF JACKSONVILLE (EHS)

Founded in 1966, Episcopal High School (EHS) began as a vision of Mr. Lucius Buck, the Very Rev. Robert Parks (Retired Dean), the vestry and other members of St. John's Cathedral. Presently, EHS enrolls over 900 students in grades 6-12 on 88 acres along the St. Johns River. The mission of EHS is to provide a superior college preparatory education in an environment marked by high expectation, Christian nurture and social diversity. The curriculum is designed to challenge all students at their highest level and to provide the strong foundation necessary for success in college, as well as for an adult life of leadership and service.   For more information visit Episcopal High School.
