How that describes our Cathedral community! We are a people grateful for God’s abundant blessings and desirous of sharing God’s abundance with our neighbors.
Celebrating Abundant Blessings we will celebrate the demisemiseptcentennial (175th anniversary) of the founding of St. John’s. Founded on Billy Goat Hill in 1834, St. John’s continues its spiritual service to the community.
Celebrating Abundant Blessings, 8 generations spanning 175 years, St. John’s parishioners have been faithful and compassionate servants of Christ to the people of Jacksonville. You and I stand in a long succession of Christian witness and ministry. How blessed we are!
Realizing and responding to God’s blessings is what Christian stewardship is all about. Christian stewardship is really about much more than money; it is about how we view this world and God’s activity in it.

+ Prayerfully consider your relationship with Christ and the Cathedral’s ministry. No gift is too small, and no gift is too large.
+ Determine how you intend to express your relationship through financial support.
+ Complete the enclosed pledge card. Return to the Cathedral by mail or any Sunday in November. Our special in gathering will be Sunday, November 22 at both services.
