Course Offerings Dear Friends in Christ, It is my joy to begin a new series during the Dean’s Forum, at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays. This course is a basic introduction to the mystery and beauty of our Episcopal Church. It is designed for both newcomers to the church and for people who have been attending this Cathedral all their lives. It is my hope to begin our journey together with the basics: why we worship together and what we believe about God. The Episcopal Church has done a poor job of defining itself to the world. But before we can articulate our understanding, we must be clear within ourselves as to who we are and who God calls us to be. We are a people of mystery, a church that embraces the questions while remaining steadfast in a tradition that reaches back for thousands of years. We are Episcopalian.
