Cathedral Restoration

What is the Restoration?

Restoration of Saint John's properties began on November 1, 2005 following a $5 million capital campaign conducted in the spring of 2005. The first phase of work was replacement of the 100 year-old cathedral slate roof that was completed in December, 2005.

On Easter Day 2006, our Centennial anniversary of the first service in the current church building, an antiphonal organ was installed on the West Wall. The entire Cathedral received a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint as well. Stay tuned for updates and announcements of our plans for the next phases of the renovation!

If you have not participated in the Capital Campaign and would like to do so, please call Carol Schott at 356-5507 to find out how to do so!
