Welcome to St. John's Cathedral!

We are found in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, where we serve Christ daily by ministering to the needs of the poorest in the city. We worship God in the beauty of an ancient service called Holy Communion.  In our worship, we use words which Jesus himself taught us, words which have been spoken aloud for thousands of years in the Church. The music that you hear is sacred and full of the love of God.  The rich and poor kneel down together and little children bless us with their presence.

We invite you into the heart of this website.  We pray that it may serve as a window into our lives.  Come inside and join us in the service of Jesus.

We offer a short Holy Eucharist Monday - Thursday at 12:10 p.m. in Cummings Chapel and on Friday in Ascension Chapel (in the cathedral) for a comtemplative service. Come join us.
